LHDN’s e-Invoicing Mandate

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) has mandated a phased rollout of e-Invoicing to enhance tax compliance and streamline business transactions across the country. The mandatory dates for e-Invoicing compliance are as follows:

  • August 1, 2024: Businesses with a turnover of more than MYR 100 million
  • January 1, 2025: Businesses with a turnover between MYR 25 million and MYR 100 million
  • July 1, 2025: All remaining businesses
